One Dead From 'Multiple Gunshot Wounds;' One Arrested
A 28-year-old man faces a charge of murder in a Sunday shooting that left one dead.

DALLAS, TX – A 28-year-old man was arrested Monday in the Jan. 7 shooting of an unidentified man who police say died of "multiple gunshot wounds" after an incident in the 4300 block of Malcom X Boulevard.
Jeremy Demond Ward is held in Dallas County Jail on a charge of murder and a $500,000 bail. Witnesses who saw the incident told police it began as a fight between the victim and Ward. Ward allegedly walked away from the fight, then returned with a gun and shot the victim multiple times.
