Police Seek Suspect In East Dallas Bank Robbery

Police say the suspect left the bank and changed clothes before leaving the scene on foot.

DALLAS, TX — A suspected bank robber is at large after striking a BBVA Compass Bank in the 3900 block of St. Francis Avenue on Feb. 21. Police are looking for the suspect, who they say entered the bank and demanded money from the teller.

The robbery suspect is described as Latino male between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-7 in height. He is believed to weigh around 160 pounds and was seen wearing a dark gray jacket, a black hat and black-rimmed glasses at the time of the alleged robbery.

Police said in a statement that he then left the bank and changed clothes in a nearby store. He was later seen on security camera footage wearing a black jacket, tan pants and a backpack.

Anyone with information about the suspect or alleged robbery should call the Dallas Field Office of the FBI at (972) 559-5000 or the Dallas Police Department Robbery Unit, Detective Carcone at (214) 412-8474.
