Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Dallas, Tarrant Counties
A storm system moving in from the west could be severe.

DALLAS, TX — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Dallas and Tarrant Counties.
The National Weather Service in Fort Worth said on Twitter that the storm is capable of producing strong wind gusts in excess of 60 miles per hour.
The storm warning will expire at 3:30 p.m. for Dallas County, and Tarrant County's warning will expire at 4 p.m.

The Weather Service warns the slow-moving storms could produce heavy rainfall and flooding in the afternoon and evening, in addition to gusty winds and cloud to ground lightning. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s today.
