Woman Kidnapped, Forced To Clean Texas Couple's House: Police
The woman was chained to a bed and forced to clean dog feces, according to reports from police and media outlets.

OVILLA, TX — A woman was kidnapped, restrained with chains and forced to clean the house of her captors for almost two weeks, Ovilla police said Monday in a press release. The couple were arrested on Jan. 26 and face kidnapping charges.
Charolette Kelly DeMars, 48, and Jean-Claude DeMars, 51, are accused of drugging and kidnaping an unidentified woman before holding her against her will in their home in the 900 block of Red Oak Creek Road. According to the release, she was chained to a bed in the couple's home and forced to clean the house.
WFAA reported the woman, also 51, had been involved in an affair with Jean-Claude DeMars. He picked her up at a woman's shelter in Irving, the station reported, and took her to his house on Jan. 14. It was there that he told her she would be "Charolette's slave."

The woman was allegedly forced to clean up dog feces in the home and was only permitted to use the restroom in a bucket, WFAA reported.
The victim was taken to hospital for medical treatment after her captors were arrested. Her condition is not known at this time.

The DeMars are each held in Ellis County Jail on $150,000 bail amounts.
Ovilla is located south of Dallas in Dallas and Ellis Counties.
