Young Children Share Adorable Dance With Love Field Worker
Watch: young girls at Dallas Love Field dance with an airport employee on the tarmac. The girls' father said he went 'above and beyond.'
DALLAS, TX — A man caught on video the adorable moment when an ordinary delayed flight turned into an all-out dance party between his young daughters and an airport employee.
The man, Joe Vaughn, said an airport worker on the ground at Dallas Love Field spotted Vaughn's two young daughters dancing in the terminal above while the family was on their way home after a week-long vacation to Disney World.
The man waved to the girls, who Vaughn said were just playing and being silly in the terminal, and the girls started interacting with him. Before Vaughn knew it, the dance party was in full swing. The Kansas City Star reported the 3- and 5-year-old girls continued dancing with the airport worker long after the video ended.

“It put a smile on my face when I saw it live, and I had no idea it was going to go viral,” Vaughn told The Star. “It’s definitely a joy just to spread some, maybe, Christmas cheer. With all the stuff going on in the world, you kind of stop and see two little girls laugh and giggle and dance, and it’s funny.”

The Star reported Southwest Airlines plans to recognize the employee for the gesture.
“A simple wave of the hand to the girls would have been fine,” Vaughn told The Star. “But he made a connection with them ... he went above and beyond.”
