Officers say testing later showed the seized substances were methamphetamine and cocaine, leading to drug and resisting arrest charges, with the suspect now in GEO custody pending magistration.
• Federal Jury Convicts Conroe, Texas Man of Enticing Minor in Del Rio (epbusinessjournal.com) — A federal jury in Del Rio has convicted a 26-year-old Conroe man of enticing a minor after an FBI investigation into explicit online communications and plans to meet in Del Rio. Prosecutors say he now faces up to 10 years in federal prison, part of the DOJ's Project Safe Childhood effort against child exploitation.
