• Livingston's Akers finishes 4th at Jacksonville College Invitational (ktre.com) — A Diboll golfer, Hunter Houl, turned in a strong performance at the Jacksonville College Invitational, tying for 17th with a three-round total of 224. The tournament, held at Cherokee Ranch Golf Club, also saw standout finishes from players representing Livingston, Lindale, Malakoff, Bullard, Hallsville, Troup, and Linden-Kildare, with Jacksonville College taking second as a team.
