Austin Pet Owners: did you know there's an environmentally friendly way to dispose of your pet poop? Each year in America dogs generate over 11 million tons of poop, much of which ends in local landfills and waterways. That's a lot of poop. Fortunately, there's a locally owned business that will take your poop and recycle it into fertilizer and soil enhancement for gardens and landscaping. Visit Pet Agree Waste Removal to learn more. Give them a call — they'll literally pick up your pet's poop.

1) Austin ISD earns a 'B' rating from Texas Education Agency. Texas Education Agency (TEA) released its first series of ratings since 2019 and the Austin Independent School District received an overall "B" rating. The TEA rating system looks at performance across three domains: student achievement, school progress, and closing the gaps. KXAN has more on the rating system and how AISD faired against other Central Texas school districts here.

2) Man sent to hospital after SWAT standoff, bomb threat in Round Rock.
