Ascension names Tony DeDominico COO at Ascension Seton Northwest

Responsible for overall operations and financial stewardship of Ascension Seton Northwest

Tony DeDominico, RN, MSN, CNOR, has accepted the role of chief operating officer of Ascension Seton Northwest. In his role, Tony is responsible for overall operations and financial stewardship of Ascension Seton Northwest, including continued development of key programs such as orthopedics, robotic-surgery, women’s services and urologic care and additional growth of inpatient care.

"I have enjoyed working with Tony in various capacities and am thrilled to welcome him to the Ascension Seton Northwest executive leadership team,” said Kate Henderson, regional hospital president at Ascension Texas. “Tony has tremendous experience in both clinical program development and operational excellence. He will bring valuable new insight and expertise to Ascension Seton Northwest and will be able to learn much from the Northwest team as well."

In his prior role as senior director of strategic operations at Dell Children's Medical Center, Tony was responsible for surgical services, the cardiac catheterization lab, imaging, interventional radiology, laboratory, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation services and more. He also led the multidisciplinary network surgical governance committee to increase revenue capture, reduce surgical denials, improve efficiencies with CDM creation and was responsible for reducing miscellaneous charges.

Tony has also completed Ascension’s Foundations on Ministry Leadership Cohort in May 2018 and is a member of the Austin Community College Surgical Technology Advisory Board.
