1) Austin Habitat for Humanity to receive a $4 million loan to build affordable housing. The Austin Community Fund awarded Austin Habitat for Humanity a $4 million loan to be paid back over the next two years. The low-interest loan will go towards the construction of 150 single-family homes. The Austin American-Statesman has more on this story here.


2) New York's mayor says Abbott sending busloads of migrants from Texas is 'horrific'. Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas has chartered buses to send groups of migrants to New York City. New York City Mayor Eric Adams said asylum seekers were overwhelming the city's homeless shelters. Adams also said: "This is horrific when you think about what [Abbot] is doing. Reports show that more than 4,000 immigrants had arrived from Texas so far. KUT has more on this developing story here.


3) Traffic Update: North Lamar to close for railroad bridge repairs. Starting Tuesday night, repairs on a railroad bridge at West Third Street over North Lamar Boulevard will require traffic closures this week along Lamar. The repairs are expected to run through Thursday morning. Check out the full story over at KXAN.


4) Austin PD has identified the body found at Mt. Bonnell while crews completed a recent rescue mission. APD have identified the man who was found dead on Saturday at Mt. Bonnell while emergency crews were rescuing an injured person who fell from a cliff. That person has been identified as 21-year-old Prabin Gharti. APD says the death is not considered suspicious.
