1) Austin Pride kicks off this week – here's everything you need to know. ATX Pride 2022 starts this week and continues through next weekend. The Austin American-Statesman has compiled an exciting list of events and details on what to expect here – check it out!

2) Democratic Texas candidate Beto O'Rourke confronts a heckler laughing during a speech on the Uvalde shooting. O'Rourke dropped a "F-bomb" on Wednesday night while confronting a heckler who was reported to be laughing during his remarks on the Uvalde mass shooting that left 19 elementary school students and two teachers dead.

The incident occurred during a rally in Mineral Wells as O'Rourke began talking about the need to curb mass shootings. A man in the crowd could be seen and heard laughing as O'Rourke talked about the incident in Uvalde, prompting the Democratic nominee for governor to respond with an expletive. 3) Austin PD investigates three separate shootings within three hours. APD is investigating three separate shootings that occurred within three hours on Thursday morning. KXAN has more details on the three incidents here.
