Austin Community College Offers Courses For Working Nurses

AUSTIN, TX — Austin Community College is now accepting applications fall applications for the second cohort of RN-to-BSN students through Saturday, June 1.
The curriculum allows working nurses to complete the additional coursework for a BSN at a lower cost. Up to 60 students will be accepted, ACC officials said.
ACC previously announced the opening of fall registration with new associate degrees and expanded flexible options in a variety of disciplines. "It is increasingly important we create more pathways for students to take the next step in their education and careers because college is for everyone," Dr. Richard Rhodes, ACC president/CEO, said in a prepared statement. "We take immense pride in providing the right types of post-secondary credentials and training to help our community skill-up."

ACC offers 16-, 12-, and 8-week sessions. The fall course schedule is available online, with classes begin starting on Monday, Aug. 26. For information about getting started, visit austincc.edu/fall.
