Dietra Lashell Lee, 42, is charged with robbery by threat after police say she walked into the Subway sandwich shop on West Martin Luther King Jr. Street at San Antonio Street at around 8:40 p.m., bought two cookies and then handed the clerk a note that read "I have a gun. Give me the cash in the drawer. I'll shoot," the Austin American-Statesman reported, referencing court records. The incident occurred on Feb. 2, according to a previous police advisory.
Lee is said to have displayed a bulge in the waistband in her pants to convince the clerk she carried a firearm, according to the report. The worker gave the woman an undisclosed amount of cash before she fled, the document details. Police caught up with her two blocks away in possession of the cookie she bought and a flashlight tucked into her waistband, according to the report.

Police took the woman to the Subway restaurant for witness identification, but the clerk did not ID her as the culprit at that time, the Statesman reported. But the next day, an officer reviewed the surveillance camera tape to find the women wore the same clothing as the suspect who entered the store, the report indicates.
That's when an arrest affidavit was issued. The same document doesn't identify her in two previous robberies at different Subway locations in the area however, the report indicates. Both of those incident happened within minutes of each other on Jan. 19, according to police.
Yet University of Texas at Austin police said via Twitter that the woman was wanted for several robberies in the West Campus area. Campus police said an arrest warrant with a $50,000 bond has been issued for Lee, who is still at large.
