The incident dating to November 2019 started off as a sales transaction before one armed suspect threatened the victim and fled the scene.
AUSTIN, TX — Police on Thursday sought help from the public locating suspects involved in a robbery late last year.
The incident dates to Nov. 13 at 2:30 p.m. on 5353 Burnet Rd. where police said the victim agreed to meet the suspect to sell some property. The first suspect met the victim and spoke for a few minutes about the property, agreeing to make the sale. Police said the victim then presented the property to the suspects who were now inside their vehicle. The suspect's vehicle is described as a late model, white Kia sedan with paper plates, police said.
The driver, police said, displayed a weapon and told the victim they were taking the property without paying for it. The victim then attempted to recover the property before being assaulted by the second victim, police said.
