RM 2244 down to one lane of traffic in each direction from Beaver Trail to Rollingwood Drive until Monday, Aug. 5 for road work.
AUSTIN, TX — A stretch of Bee Cave Road (RM 2244) will be reduced to a single lane of traffic in each direction starting this Friday, state transportation officials said.
Beginning on Aug. 2 at 8 p.m., Texas Department of Transportation crews will reduce RM 2244 to one lane of traffic in each direction from Beaver Trail to Rollingwood Drive. The lane reduction will remain in place until Monday, Aug. 5, at 6 a.m.
The lane reduction is to allow crews to safely widen the roadway from Blueridge Trail to Walsh Tarlton Lane, officials explained. Traffic will be shifted throughout the duration of the work and police officers will be on site to help direct motorists.
