• Look & Listen Storytime: A favorite for young visitors (ages 4–8), pairing a picture book with a work of art. This month’s theme is community, featuring In the Meadow of Fantasies by Hadi Mohammadi & Nooshin Safakhoo alongside Parade (diptych) by Mequitta Ahuja. Presented with support from Alienated Majesty Books.
10:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.

• Looking Together: Ever wondered how others interpret an artwork? Explore a visitor favorite through shared observation and conversation, using creative ways of looking to build connections and meaning. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
1 p.m.

• Curator’s Choice Tour: Take a closer look at highlights from the Blanton’s collection in this staff-led gallery experience. This tour features The Fleet’s In! by Paul Cadmus and explores its cultural impact and controversy.
12 p.m.

• Art with an Expert: Sharon Louden
Join John P. Murphy for a talk on how New Deal–era federal arts programs shaped American culture during a time of crisis, launching the careers of artists such as Dorothea Lange, Jacob Lawrence, and Jackson Pollock while advancing a vision of cultural democracy.
3–4 p.m.
Followed by a book signing in the Museum Store.

• Silent Disco featuring Peligrosa DJ Collective: Grab headphones and dance along to live DJ sets in the galleries.
