Austin's premier chamber music celebration turns 30 — and it opens with a bang.
Violinist Sandy Yamamoto, cellist Matthew Zalkind, and pianist Shai Wosner come together for an evening of pure Romantic fire. The program opens with Dvořák's beloved Dumky Piano Trio — six movements that swing between elegy and exhilaration, steeped in the folk soul of Bohemia. Then comes Brahms' Piano Trio in B major: sweeping, searching, and unmistakably grand.
