Join us for a Thursday night of performance and conversation with local Composer and Musician Joe Jaxson with Art Spark Texas. This event is free and open to the public - enjoy free catering donated generously by Via 313, live performance, and conversation - all in a supportive and welcoming community.
Joe Jaxson is a composer and musician who studied at James Madison University and is completing his doctoral studies at the University of Texas at Austin. His work spans band, orchestra and chamber settings, with recent premieres including “Fantasia” with the United States Heritage of America Band and “Born in the Iron Grip” with the Richmond Symphony. His piece “Through the Bay” won the American Prize in Composition in December 2025.
