“Let me house-sit for you”
I may even do it for free…and here’s why…
I am a single, semi-retired lady in Houston with a daughter who lives in Austin. I really want to spend more time in Austin, but I’m not sure yet if I want to sell my home in Houston and move there permanently. So, I came up with this idea. “How about I house-sit in Austin”?
I am looking for long term house sitting. I was thinking a month or more. And the best part is, I would house-sit for free. However, if you’d like me to take care of your animals and/or your yard (watering and gardening), I would do it for a small fee. I’m not sure of the going rates but would be happy to discuss it and get your input.

Here is some info about me…
I have been a professional Costume Designer for over 35 years. I started my work in Hollywood working for CBS, then moved on to designing period movies. Working on movies took me to Houston, where I met my husband and had a beautiful daughter. So, Texas is now my home.

I have owned my own home in Houston since 1990 and have had a wonderful time in Houston. But I have to admit, since my daughter moved to Austin, I am quickly falling in love with the city of Austin. I love the outdoor life and the casual atmosphere, so different from Houston.
I am VERY tidy and would treat your home as if it were my own. I am a quick drive away from Austin and would happily come up to meet you in person and discuss staying in your home. My hours are totally my own, so I can come most any time.
