Jason Achilles Mezilis is a man of many hats, and there's a chance he's driving through your town. With a handful of dates that sees him making his way to us for SXSW this year, he includes several Texas stops while on the road.
For the past year Mezilis has been quickly becoming a household name in the Rock n' Roll family. His influential and much-sought after record, COMEDOWN, has brought his ambitious sound into the spotlight. Before heading out on the second leg of his tour this March, Mezilis presented to us the seductive video for "Tokyo Drift" which is an art-form both musically and visually, all of its own.

When Mezilis isn't on the road and supporting his new record, he also operates Organic Audio Records in Los Angeles, where he has worked with everyone from Dizzy Reed of Guns N' Roses (Sound familiar?) and Nico Vega to name a few.
COMEDOWN is an accomplished record, and by the looks of it, Mezilis brings his artistry to a whole new level live. Currently on the road with an addition of a drummer, Mezilis' instrumental guitar really goes to work as he accepts the challenge to keep everything live and not pre-recorded. This speaks volumes for Mezilis as a true musician.
