Junior League Of Austin To Unveil New Community Center
Space at 48000-square-foot space at 5330 Bluffstone Lane to host group's signature programs such as FIT (Food in Tummies).

AUSTIN, TX — STG Design, an Austin-based architecture and interior design firm, has partnered with the Junior League of Austin to unveil the new Community Impact Center on Thursday.
The space is described as having been designed in a decidedly professional style that will play host to the Junior League's signature programs such as FIT (Food in Tummies). The center will also be made available to the broader community, who may rent the space for events, officials said.
The new Junior League of Austin headquarters encompasses 48,000 square feet of space at 5330 Bluffstone Lane in Northwest Austin. The two-story Community Impact Center features a ballroom, meeting space, more space for the League’s signature programs, including FIT- Food in Tummies, a Christmas Affair, Kids in Cool Shoes and Coats for Kids. There is also space available for the community and organizations to rent out for events, meetings, conferences and more.

The Junior League’s mission of improving the community through effective action and volunteerism, including supporting more than 30 local nonprofits, will be bolstered with this new facility, officials said.
STG Design served as Architect and Interior Designer for the JLA Community Impact Center scheduled to be completed in summer 2019 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 17. “STG Design is thrilled to have partnered with the Junior League of Austin to design the new Community Impact Center,” Katie Walker, Registered Interior Designer and Associate at STG Design, said in a prepared statement. “New offices, as well as the large divisible ballroom and various event spaces, from double height lobby to outdoor terraces, will provide the facilities needed to help the Junior League in their continued efforts to serve the broader Austin community for years to come.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 17, starting at 10 a.m. at Community Impact Center, 5330 Bluffstone Lane.
