No Winning Numbers Drawn For Saturday's Powerball Jackpot
This means Wednesday's potential prize grows to -- gulp -- $1.3 billion.

DOWNTOWN AUSTIN-UT, TX -- No one drew the winning numbers for Saturday’s record-setting Powerball jackpot of $949.8 million, which means the next drawing will be for an astounding $1.3 billion.
Texas Lottery officials announced early Sunday there were no winners for the huge Saturday jackpot. The pot now grows to more than $1 billion with a potential cash payout of $806 million for Wednesday’s draw.
“No #Powerball jackpot winners in any state tonight,” Texas Lottery officials tweeted at around 1 a.m. Sunday. ”Wednesday’s jackpot is a new WORLD RECORD! Can you believe it?”

The upcoming $1.3 billion jackpot will be the biggest in U.S. history.
The numbers picked for Saturday’s drawing were 32, 16, 19, 57, 34, and Powerball number 13. Six people in California came close, drawing five of the six numbers.

Despite long odds of winning, ticket sales were brisk ahead of Saturday’s drawing.
By Friday, Lottery Texas told Patch cumulative sales of Texas Powerball tickets exceeded $11 million at a rate of more than $26,000 a minute.
