Texas Woman Has Joy Overload With Chewbacca Mask: VIDEO
Candace Payne, 37, of North Texas reminds us that true joy is to be derived from life's simple pleasures.

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX -- A woman in North Texas has taken the virtual world by storm by taking joy in the simple pleasures of life. In her case, it's a noise-making Chewbacca mask that's the source of her personal bliss.
"I'd like to say that I bought this for my son, but at the end of the day it's mine and I'm gonna keep it for my own!" Candace Payne, 37, says in a video she posted on her Facebook page.
At this point in the video, the viewer doesn't know what she's pulling from a box. As she undoes the packaging, she notes she bought it at Kohl's, and it was worth every penny.

Before putting it on, she assures she'll let her kids play with the mask -- a birthday gift she bought for herself -- but it will be her toy.
"I'm not a bad mom," the woman from the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie says. "I'm not a jerk, but at the end of the day it doesn't go in their toy box. It goes in my room."

She then puts on the mask, which is shown to have a Chewbacca "jaw" that unhinges, with wookie sounds emanating somewhere from it innards whenever she opens her mouth .
This is where she loses it.
The woman laughs uncontrollably as she attempts to continue her narration in a display of pure, unadulterated joy.
Payne said she made the video for her "friends on the Internet webs," but more than 72 million people have watched her Facebook Live video so far.
"Oh, I'm such a happy Chewbacca!" the woman exclaims with no hint of irony but with palpably genuine happiness.
Watch the video below. And may the force of laughter be with you.
