First, today's weather:

Sunny; breezy in the p.m. High: 77 Low: 49.

Here are the top stories today in Austin:

  1. Austin-based OneAffiniti channel marketing company was "recognized at the 2022 B2B Marketing Exchange Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona" this past February. "The company received the Best Design/Concept Theme Killer Content Award for its animated infographic titled, '7 Digital Accelerants that Will Slingshot Us into the Future.'" Tara Peteet Yukawa, who accepted the award, said, "This award affirms that we are more than just a leading content team in a niche market — we measure up very well against B2B content teams throughout the country." She added, "Highly creative content is one of the top priorities for prospective clients, and we can now share with our customers and prospects that our team creates an award-winning product." 2. In late 2022, construction of "the city's new tallest residential or hotel high-rise is planned" next to the Austin Convention Center in Austin. "The Conrad Austin hotel and Conrad Residences Austin condos will occupy a 65-story tower that will be built at 311 E. Second St., near West Cesar Chavez and Trinity streets." It "will feature 326 hotel rooms and 136 one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom condos, as well as nearly 10,000 square feet of restaurant space and 1,000 square feet for a cocktail lounge." The Conrad Hotels and Resorts brand is owned by Hilton and the project's developer is Austin-based Intracorp Texas. "For the full story visit CultureMap and read: (KVUE.com)
  3. From March 11-14, South by Southwest (SXSW), in collaboration with Spatial, featured "a never-before-seen Meow Wolf adventure" experience enhanced by the addition of "a new dimension of immersive audio" that transformed the experience even further. According to "Lazer" with Meow Wolf, "The creative force hovering around South-by for so many years is drawing us to it. It's a conglomerate collaboration of creativity. It's over 500 artists who work together to make immersive art experiences and we've just now cracked the portal open to Austin, Texas. Now the stream of consciousness is flowing in the streets." If you did not get a chance to see the pop-up installation at the Spatial Holodeck at 310 E. 3rd St., visit their Instagram for that and more SXSW stories. SXSW 2022 Conference & Festivals will continue until Sunday, March 20. For more on the past Meow Wolf exhibit visit: (KEYE TV CBS Austin)
