Austin Man Reported Missing Found Injured
Christian Pugh, 21, was last seen walking east along the 600 block of Davis Street before heading south on Rainey Street early Sunday.
AUSTIN, TX — An Austin man who had been reported missing after having last been seen along Rainey Street has been found alive but injured, police said on Tuesday.
Christian Pugh, 21, was last seen walking east along the 600 block of Davis Street before heading south on Rainey Street shortly after 1:37 a.m. on Sunday. In a press advisory issued just before noon on Tuesday, police said the man was located before being transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Local police conducted the search with Travis County Search & Rescue teams as well as those with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, according to the press advisory.

AUSTIN, TX — Police seek help from the public in finding a missing man last seen in the Rainey Street area.
In a case first reported early Sunday, police said Christian Pugh, 21, was last seen walking east along the 600 block of Davis Street before heading south on Rainey Street shortly after 1:37 a.m. Family and friends of the man have had no contact with him since, police said.
"There are circumstances in this case that lead investigators to believe Christian could be in danger," police added without providing details. Law enforcement officials describe Pugh as a white man standing at 5 feet, ten inches, in height and weighing 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Pugh was last seen wearing a white shirt with a green, army style jacket of waist length, dark, wool-type pants and low-cut “Doc Martin” style shoes/boots. Police released a photo of Pugh in the hopes that someone might recognize him and alert as to his whereabouts.
Anyone with information regarding Pugh's whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately and/or the Missing Persons Unit at (512) 974-5250 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
