Reading-centric MakerSpace for kids of all ages this weekend at Lanier High School. A fun, free family event.

Lanier High School, and the schools that feed into it, are hosting a literacy event to help inspire children to become lifelong readers.

Lucy Read Pre-K School, Cook Elementary School, McBee, Padron and Wooldridge and Wooten elementary schools; Burnet Middle School and Lanier High School libraries will host MakerSpace Madness.

MakerSpace Madness will feature fair-style booths run by instructors to lead students. The booths will give students the opportunity to experiment with technology, create art with recycled materials and make take-away projects, such as puppets and jewelry.
