Talk On Counter-Terrorism Efforts Since 9/11 Set For Austin

Expert panel comprising impressive array of intelligence and security experts slated to be on hand at UT-Austin on Tuesday.

AUSTIN, TX — An expert panel comprising an impressive array of intelligence and security experts are slated to be on hand this week for a talk in Austin related to counter-terrorism efforts since 9/11.

The discussion is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center within the The University of Texas at Austin. Organizers urge those interested to join the Clements Center for National Security, Intelligence Studies Project, Robert Strauss Center for International Security and Law along with the distinguished panel of experts for an important discussion on U.S. counter-terrorism policy.

This event is free and open to all students and the public. However, seating is limited and admission is not guaranteed. Doors open at 11:30 AM. Public parking is available for a fee at Manor and Brazos garages. To register, click here.

Following the panel, Farah Pandith will be signing copies of her recently published book, How We Win: How Cutting-Edge Entrepreneurs, Political Visionaries, Enlightened Business Leaders, and Social Media Mavens Can Defeat the Extremist Threat. A book signing is scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Free copies will be distributed to the first 30 guests in line for the panel event, organizers noted.
