ThunderCloud to reveal 2018 Turkey Trot donation to Caritas 12/20

The owners of ThunderCloud Subs will present a giant check revealing the amount of money raised for Caritas of Austin at this year’s ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 9:30 a.m. at Caritas of Austin's downtown office, 611 Neches Street.

Mike Haggerty and Patty Sughrue, co-owners of ThunderCloud Subs; Jo Kathryn Quinn, executive director of Caritas of Austin; Amy Jackson, director of development of Caritas of Austin; the ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot mascot; and staff and volunteers from Caritas and ThunderCloud will all be in attendance for the celebratory check presentation.

ThunderCloud donates 100 percent of Trot proceeds to Caritas of Austin, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness for people in Greater Austin. ThunderCloud has raised nearly $3.5 million for Caritas since the Trot first began in 1991— and that number will increase largely after this year’s donation!
