Two Austin Women at Westminster Senior Living Honored for Lifelong Community Impact

Two Austin women at Westminster are being recognized for a lifetime of impact that continues to be felt across the Austin community.

Judi Nudelman and Robbie Ausley were named to the 2026 “80 Over Eighty” class by Family Eldercare, honoring older adults who have made significant contributions to the community and remain actively engaged in shaping it.

The initiative highlights individuals across Central Texas whose leadership, service, and ongoing involvement continue to make a difference.

Nudelman, 86, is known for her work expanding opportunities for women in science and medicine. As the founder of Women in Neuroscience, she has helped create more than 100 paid internships for young women through partnerships with the University of Texas and Dell Medical School. Her efforts have opened doors for future generations while advancing equity in STEM fields.

Ausley, also in her 80s, has built a legacy of civic engagement and volunteer leadership in Austin. Over the years, she has contributed to initiatives that strengthen community connection and support residents across the city. Her work has spanned advocacy within the United Methodist Church, women’s healthcare access, and support for immigrant families across Texas.

Both women are part of the Westminster community in Central Austin, where they stay actively involved while maintaining an impact beyond its campus.

They were two of three honorees during a ceremony in Austin, recognizing individuals whose contributions span education, healthcare, advocacy, and public service.

Programs like “80 Over Eighty” reflect the kind of impact that continues to shape Austin every day through leaders like Nudelman and Ausley, who continue to give back and shape the community around them.
