UT-Austin Cop Car Catches Fire
Fire broke out in engine compartment of patrol vehicle on campus Monday afternoon, yielding dramatic photos of car conflagration.
AUSTIN, TX — A University of Texas at Austin patrol vehicle caught fire on Monday before it was safely extinguished, officials said.
The fire broke out in the engine compartment of the patrol car just before 2:15 p.m. UT-Austin police said the fire was extinguished without any injuries.

Campus police did not specify what may have caused the fire to erupt.
