Lotto Texas Jackpot Grows To $7.25 Million

Nobody matched the six winning numbers on Wednesday, pushing the prize up with cash value option of $4.84 million.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — It's been weeks since someone matched all the numbers for the Lotto Texas jackpot. On Wednesday, the losing streak continued, pushing the prize for Saturday to $7.25 million with a cash value option of $4.84 million.

We share the six numbers drawn on Wednesday not to further rub in your face that you didn't match all the six magic numbers, but to urge you to check the ticket still. Smaller prizes are awarded for matching as few as two digit, don't you know.

Those winning numbers for Wednesday, Sept. 12, are: 1-3-12-20-36-44.

Lottery drawings are drawn for Lotto Texas take place each Wednesday and Saturday, with the winning numbers generally revealed at around 10:15 p.m. each drawing day. AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Lotto Texas jackpot is up to $7 million y'all! Nobody matched the six winning numbers at Saturday's drawing, pushing the prize up from the previous prize that would've been awarded $6.75 million.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, Sept. 8, drawing are: 14-21-33-43-47-48. While nobody matched all the winning digits, you might want to check your ticket as the lottery commission awards smaller prizes for those players matching as few as two numbers.

As it happens, a half-dozen players matched five out of the six numbers on Saturday — good for $3,903 in winnings, according to the lottery commission. Another 637 people matched four out of six numbers for a $54 prize. Lottery officials said 12,748 players matched three out of six numbers to win $3. Another 2,888 players paid for the Extra! option in matching three out of six number, walking away with a whopping $13 in winnings.

Oh, and 26,053 players choosing the Extra! option matched two out of six numbers to win $2. Hey, it's something. It ain't $7 million, but it's something. All old, there were 13,391 winners playing without the Extra! option and another 29,080 boosting their winnings with the option.

So the next drawing for the $7 million will be on Wednesday, Sept. 12. The cash value option for that prize wil be an estimated $4.69 million. The winning numbers generally are revealed at around 10:15 p.m. each drawing day. AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Lotto Texas jackpot continues to grow after nobody matched the six winning numbers on Wednesday. Because of this, the potential prize for the next drawing on Saturday, Sept. 8, will be $6.75 million, or a cash value option of $4.52 million.

The winning numbers for Wednesday, Sept. 5, are: 6-28-29-34-46-50. The prize would've been $6.5 million had someone matched the winning numbers.

Even though nobody matched all the numbers, you might want to check your ticket as smaller prizes are awarded for as few as three numbers matched. On Wednesday, seven people statewide matched five of six numbers for a $2,895 prize. Another couple of folks made the same match but with the Extra! option, pushing their prize to $12,895.

Check back on Saturday, Sept. 8, to see what the winning numbers will be then. Generally speaking, they're announced at around 10:15 p.m. CST. You can also view the webcast of the official drawings.
