• Early Fire Department battles vehicle fire, saves home from major damage (myfoxzone.com) — A vehicle fire in Early on Wednesday heavily damaged a car and scorched the outside of a nearby home, but firefighters kept the flames from spreading inside and no one was hurt. Early Fire Department, with help from Brownwood crews and other agencies, quickly knocked down the blaze, thoroughly checked the house for hidden fire, and left the cause officially undetermined.
