In Case You Missed It: Robbery Leaves Victim with Amnesia

The robbery occurred on Labor Day, and this Monday another man was severely injured in a similar incident.

EAST AUSTIN, TX - A violent robbery on E Sixth Street several months ago left a young man beaten so badly that he lost over a month of memory, and the victim still cannot remember his assailants.

On Labor Day of this year, 26 year old Raymond Dibiasi was robbed on E Sixth Street by two suspects and beaten about the head so brutally that he went into a coma and suffered significant memory loss.

“From my memories of the event, honestly I went to sleep one night and woke up a month later in San Antonio. I can’t remember anything from a week before the attack straight through to a month in the hospital afterwards,” he told KXAN.
