HOME begins demolition of former headquarters in South Central El Paso (kvia.com) — Demolition is underway at HOME's former headquarters on East Paisano in South Central El Paso, clearing the way for a major affordable housing project. The agency plans to replace the longtime postal and housing authority site with 200 to 300 Class A one- and two-bedroom apartments, aiming to support the growing nearby medical and educational district.

Advocates in El Paso say the broader, less targeted enforcement is separating families, traumatizing children, and deepening fear in neighborhoods from Central to South-Central El Paso.
