• Waskom ISD announces lone finalist for superintendent (marshallnewsmessenger.com) — Ferris residents may soon see a leadership change at their school district, as assistant superintendent of academic services Lindsey Wood has been named the lone finalist for superintendent at Waskom ISD in East Texas. Trustees there plan to vote on officially hiring her June 18, after which she would leave Ferris ISD to lead the Waskom district following the former superintendent’s death.
