The project, which is located near Deacon Dr., is designed to improve water system reliability, increase capacity, and help address low water pressure concerns in North Forney.

Residents are encouraged to attend so they can learn more about the project, ask questions, and consult with city staff and project representatives.

In other Forney news, the city issued a traffic alert for Tuesday starting at 8 a.m. Bois D' Arc between Dalview and College St. will be closed for the majority of the day to allow for a waterline repair.

Traffic will be detoured via College St., FM 548, and Pecan. Residents should plan for delays and use alternate routes if possible.
