• Fort Worth Paschal football takes down Poly, wins first game of the season (star-telegram.com) — Fort Worth fans saw Paschal dominate Fort Worth Polytechnic 68-6 at Scarborough-Handley Field, earning the Panthers' first win and a key district boost. Players and coaches say the big victory resets their season before next week's rivalry showdown with Fort Worth Arlington Heights at Farrington Field, giving local supporters plenty to watch as district play heats up.
• Fort Worth glass art studio SiNaCa nears agreement to relocate to Arlington (fortworthreport.org) — Fort Worth's glass art nonprofit SiNaCa Studios is poised to leave its Magnolia Avenue home for a much larger city-backed space in downtown Arlington, after years of financial strain and limited local support. Near Southside leaders praise the studio's legacy but say the move should prompt Fort Worth officials to rethink how they fund and retain arts organizations that help define the city's creative identity.
