Hooters Fort Worth Donates Easter Baskets to Cook Children’s Medical Center

Several Hooters employees came together for their annual tradition of assembling Easter baskets for local children who need to spend the holiday in the hospital. The opportunity was extra special and meaningful for Cheyenne Holliday who works at Hooters Fort Worth. Cheyenne had assistance assembling the baskets from her seven-year-old son, Sutton, who has cerebral palsy and was treated there. The Easter baskets donated by the restaurant were delivered to the Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth on April 3. Hooters employees who joined Cheyenne and her son in delivering the items include Andrea Hill (HMC Hospitality Group, Executive Vice President), Heather Geoghan (Regional Director of Marketing - Texas) and Angelyn Thiem (Hooters Fort Worth).
“Being a Hooters Girl has brought so many opportunities into my life and introduced me to some amazing people, but this experience truly meant the most. Connecting my work with a place that has done so much for my son, Sutton was such a full-circle, wholesome moment that I’ll never forget. We have been one of those families’ spending holidays in the hospital, more times than I can count. Cook Children’s has always gone above and beyond to give us a sense of normalcy during heavy and exhausting times. They have shown so much love to our family, being able to turn around and pour even a little bit of that back into other families going through the same thing made this incredibly special,” said Cheyenne Holliday who works at Hooters Fort Worth.
