Fort Worth City Council Implements New Speaker Registration Process
The policy goes into effect starting Tuesday, June 23.

The new speaker registration process for Fort Worth City Council meetings will go into effect starting Tuesday, June 23.
The city put details about the new process in a Friday blog post. According to the post, registration will become available once the meeting agenda is posted on Wednesdays.
After the meeting is posted, residents must register no later than two hours before the start of the meeting for both day and evening meetings.

Here's how to register to speak at council meetings online:
- Go online and use the filter options at the top of the page to filter the meetings by date and/or type.
- Click on the meeting that you would like to register to speak or submit comments on an agenda item.
- Click on the link for the meeting agenda.
- Expand the agenda section for the item you wish to address.
- Complete the form sections.

- Review the instructions on filling out a speaker card online; or
- Call the City Secretary’s Office at 817-392-6150; or
- Complete a speaker card in person in the City Secretary’s Office at City Hall (100 Fort Worth Trail) no later than two hours before the start of a meeting.
