Fort Worth Police Make Drug Bust After Anonymous Tip
It led to the seizure of 14.75 pounds of marijuana, two handguns, and nearly $10,000 in cash.
The Fort Worth Police Department is celebrating a June drug bust that led to the arrest of a local man.
The department posted a photo of the seized drugs to social media on Tuesday. "An anonymous tip, a little surveillance, and a big result," the caption reads.
According to the post, the Fort Worth Police Department's Tactical Narcotics Team 2 followed up on a tip from the community on June 7.

The tip led to the arrest of 36-year-old Jose Hernandez of Fort Worth. During the arrest, police seized 14.75 pounds of marijuana, 159 grams of mushrooms, two handguns, and $9,259 in cash.
"Fort Worth residents continue to be one of our greatest partners in keeping illegal drugs off our streets," the post states. "See Something, Say Something, and we'll take it from there."
