Local Husband-and-Wife Team Opens 16 Handles Frozen Yogurt and Soft Serve Shop in Fulshear

FULSHEAR, Texas (July 14, 2026) – 16 Handles, the upscale frozen yogurt and dessert franchise known for its modern design and viral flavors, will debut a shop in Fulshear on July 25. The new spot, located at 4906 FM 1463 Ste 400, aims to be the top community-driven destination for frozen yogurt and desserts.

16 Handles Fulshear is owned by local husband-and-wife duo Min Lee and Chris So, longtime residents who are excited to debut a community-centered dessert destination. After hearing her husband rave about his experience with 16 Handles, she explored the brand further and quickly saw its potential. She was drawn to its innovative approach to frozen yogurt and commitment to reimagining the category through a wide variety of unique, rotating flavors, and felt it would be a perfect fit to bring to the Fulshear community.

The 1,400-square-foot shop will employ about 18 team members and is designed to be a welcoming local gathering place for families, students, and neighbors. Lee and So plan on prioritizing community engagement through school outreach and local partnerships.

“Opening this shop is about creating a place where our kids, their friends and our neighbors can gather, connect and make lasting memories,” said Lee. “We’ve called this community home for years, and it was important to us that this becomes more than just a business. We want it to be a place that naturally becomes part of people’s daily lives and traditions.”

A Grand Opening celebration is scheduled for July 25, featuring free frozen yogurt for the first 100 guests, half-price treats from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., and 25% off all purchases throughout the remainder of the weekend. The event will also include live entertainment.

With 16 rotating soft-serve flavors, over 50 toppings and sauces, and frozen novelties like cakes, take-home pints and DŌ gourmet edible cookie dough, 16 Handles continues to redefine what a frozen dessert experience can be.
