Burglars Target Galleria To Steal $190K In Watches

Police said two men broke through several glass doors, causing thousands in damages before stealing high-end watches.

HOUSTON, TX — Police are looking for two men who broke into a watch store inside the Galleria and stole more than 40 high-end watches valued at $190,000.

The burglary was reported at 2:50 a.m. on Feb. 13 in the 5000 block of Westheimer Road inside the Galleria.

Police said the two men, who were both wearing dark hoodies and dark pants, broke through several glass doors, causing $17,000 in damages.

Once inside the store, the two men smashed the display glass, stealing numerous watches of varying brands, then fled the area, police said.
