A push in ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 30th at 10:00 A.M. at the River Oaks Fire Department located at 4900 River Oaks Blvd. A push in ceremony is a means of paying homage to the days when fire engines were hand carts or horse drawn and had to be pushed back into the fire station after a fire. We held this same ceremony in 2016 for the current front-line engine. We will have pictures with the truck for the kids, hot dogs, and an overall good time.
