• Garden city man arrested in Pecos County human smuggling attempt (yourbasin.com) — Law enforcement say a man from Garden City was taken into custody after a Pecos County traffic stop allegedly uncovered an attempt to transport three undocumented Mexican nationals. The driver and two passengers were detained and transferred to U.S. Border Patrol for processing, while one passenger reportedly fled on foot and remains at large.
