Hooters Presents Donation to Guns and Hoses Foundation on National First Responders Day

In honor of National First Responders Day on Wednesday, October 28, Hooters presented a donation of $1,000 to the Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas. Several first responders joined the group for dinner at Hooters in Garland after the presentation.

Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas is a nonprofit organization founded in 2002, dedicated to providing immediate assistance to the families of fallen Peace Officers and Fire Fighters lost in the line of duty in North Texas.

HMC Hospitality Group representatives from the North Texas Hooters locations who took part in the check presentation included Andrea Hill (Executive Vice President), Heather Geoghan (Regional Director of Marketing-Texas), Zach McCrady (Regional Director of Operations) and Garland Hooters Girls Skylar Cole and Astryn Wilson and Dave Swayney, Guns and Hoses Founder and Executive Director.

In addition to monetary donations over the past 20 years, Hooters employees volunteer at events for the Guns and Hoses Foundation throughout the year. “Hooters is forever committed to our first responders and honoring the brave heroes who have sacrificed their lives to protect our communities. We were honored to host Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas on National First Responders Day,” said Andrea Hill, HMC Hospitality Group Executive Vice President.
