• Hewitt ends Flock camera contract as state funding pause leaves cities weighing next steps (kcentv.com) — Hewitt officials are ending the city's contract for Flock license plate reader cameras, citing a deficit budget and a state-ordered pause on grant funding that helped pay for the system. City Manager Jim Devlin says the roughly $45,000 contract isn't affordable without reimbursement and stresses the move is a financial choice, not a response to public petitions, while Hewitt waits to see what lawmakers decide about funding and privacy rules.
