• Hillsboro water customers could soon see higher utility bills, city leaders say they have no choice (kwtx.com) — Hillsboro city leaders are weighing another round of water and wastewater rate hikes that could add around $12 a month to an average household’s utility bill. Officials say rising supplier costs and required line relocations for a TxDOT project leave them little choice, while some residents argue the city should rebalance its budget instead.
