Rare Sea Turtle Near Death on UK Beach Gets 5,000-mile Lift to Texas Rehab Before Returning to Gulf Home (goodnewsnetwork.org) — Houston Zoo veterinarians are caring for Rhossi, a rare Kemp's ridley sea turtle flown 5,000 miles from Wales back to Texas so he can eventually return to the Gulf of Mexico. The turtle's recovery highlights the zoo's sea turtle rescue program, which is partly funded by visitor admissions and supported by a broad international conservation effort.
3. NORAD Intercepts Multiple Aircraft Violating TFR Over Houston, Texas (aero-news.net) — Military jets intercepted five small planes that entered restricted airspace over Houston on Friday while President Trump was visiting Ellington Field and NASA's Johnson Space Center. NORAD says all aircraft were safely escorted out and is urging pilots flying near Houston to carefully review FAA notices and temporary flight restrictions before takeoff to avoid similar scares.
