Fort Bend Jury Sentences Man To 250 Years In Prison

Walter Jackson was convicted on four counts of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, and will spend his days behind bars.

RICHMOND, TX -- A Fort Bend County jury sentenced a 35-year old Louisiana man last week to a combined 250 years in prison, on four counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Walter Louis Jackson, Jr was apparently selling illegal prescription drugs and cocaine out of his Cinco Ranch apartment, when he was arrested by members of the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force in 2012.

The investigation at the time indicated that Jackson was using his girlfriend’s apartment as a stash house for the illicit drugs, which he would sell in the parking lots of restaurants, bars, and hotels.

He was tried in the 268th District Court before Presiding Judge Brady G. Elliott.

Each of the four against Jackson is a first-degree felony, punishable by at least 5 to 99 years, or life in prison, and a maximum fine of up to $10,000.

The four sentences will be served concurrently.
