Heavy Fire Spotted From Houston Medical Center Area (UPDATE)
The heavy smoke is coming from a 2-alarm fire in the city's museum district.

HOUSTON, TX —UPDATE: Houston Fire Department said the smoke comes from a 2-alarm apartment fire in Houston's Museum District.
KRPC2 said the fire was reported around 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of Blodgett and Crawford streets. A video from Sky2 showed dozens of firefighters around a building called The Hampstead. The side of the building appears charred.

Onlookers spotted heavy smoke coming from the Medical Center area of Houston Tuesday afternoon, KPRC2 reports.
It's not yet known who the fire started, but crews are being dispatched to the area, according tot he KPRC2 reports.
